White letter tires cool factor
I'm sitting at an airport waiting on family nothing to do. I thought I would share a project I worked on waiting for the rain to stop. Cost very little money and about 4 hours of labor. Needs 2 coats. One small can of Rust-Oleum oil-based flat white and a small paintbrush, very small. I rode 50 miles it seem to hold on fine just make sure your tire is very clean. The Harley-Davidson logo on my tire would have gone over half the rim I thought that was too much and would have taken forever. Adds a little spark to the bike.

I was worried about the same thing. I plan on using a fine grade steel wool to scrub it off if it comes off. I figure if you run your tires too low or use a pressure washer it would probably come off. The rubber letters are smooth and clean. Brake cleaner takes it off instantly but would make a mess probably: also this project is not for the faint of heart.

Here's mine...
This is the second set of tires I've done. Used Sharpie oil based paint pens on both. Prep is important - scrubbed the lettering with Westley's Bleach Whites multiple times to clear the oils etc off. Two coats seems sufficient. I've had no issues with wear. Take some care when it comes to cleaning and the lettering should be alright.

I did the same thing using the Sharpie oil paint pen, with the same tires, but outlined the letters instead. A little tricky but looks pretty cool.
