Just a guess, and not based on solid information, but I would imagine the next major change to the Sportster powerplants would be the introduction of a "detuned" Revolution series of engines.
I believe your are right on OFG!

absolutley love the Fat Bob. Love the dual headlight look, fat front tire, and drag bars. Its my favorite of the new lineup.

I just figured it out - the perfect bike for me would be the street bob with a fat bob front end

BINGO! Hit the nail on the head! That is sooo ugly! I mean I give them props as the concept is a novel idea having a convertable passenger seat locatred underneath the main seat that can pop out in seconds however the application looks simply horrendous! Was there no focus group on that eyesore? I mean I have visted different boards today to get different opinions on what people think (can'taccesshdforums at work [:@]) but that seems to be the #1 comment about that ugly seat.

Plus who intheir right mind is riding on that contraption without a sissybar. i knowI wouldn't ride my wife on that seat. She would be off the back in seconds.

Yeah that thing is both ugly and impractical. It would be a pretty precarious ride for anyone on the back of that thing. They should have just stuck to a single on that thing and just said it is what it is. I reckon the designer must have been pretty pissed when they asked him for a pillion option on his design - and it probably reflects in the end result

I notice they've dropped the price on some of the 2008 Dyna's, too.
