I am disapointed with the 2008s. I was looking for a 6-speed, more power (1350 cc) and some more styling. The 2008s are the same as the 2007s. I will not be buying one.

I think the EVO based engines have just about 'run their course', and will be phased out within a couple of years.
As you probably know, the EVO engine was dropped from the Big Twin lineup a few years ago, and I can see that happening to the Sportster lineup as well.
Just a guess, and not based on solid information, but I would imagine the next major change to the Sportster powerplants would be the introduction of a "detuned" Revolution series of engines.

Hey maybe i'll get a night rod and raise its suspension up and see if i cant find those inverted forks anywhere and make my own street rod i want that 40 degree lean angle!
