Actually, it was a Birthday present from the wife, but she costs plenty.

 

I made payments, but paid it off early, 2 1/2 yrs.

 

Wrote a check.

Pissed the dealership off in the process. They insisted that I give the financing a look. So I agreed. Then when they had already assumed I would do the financing and printed out all of the paperwork, I told them no thanks, I'll write a check. So they had to re do the paperwork, plus I'm sure give up some profit from doing the financing.

My opinion is, if I can't pay cash I can't afford it. The only thing I have financed is the house.

 

Making payments. I'm putting 25,000 miles a year on my bike, so at the end of my 4 year loan I'll have 100,000 miles on it! It will be time for a new bike!

I am not rich either, but I also wrotea check. I don't like anything over my head. The only thing I owe on is my house, and about 300 on a credit card that I used while on vacation last week, and that too will be paid off at the end of the month. They wanted to charge me 9.9% APR so I said no thanx!
