Default Plate relo kit location

Hey there ladies and gents,

So I got the dk kit to relocate my tag, long story short I suck with non pictured instructions. Can this be mounted here? Obviously not in this orientation but inside the shock on the bolt with the nut securing it. From what I read it goes somewhere on the outsider of the shock but then something about the bushing was mentioned.
Don’t wanna mess things up.

Thanks.

If it will fit there, you will be fine. Just make sure it clears everything.

but to the inside or out? I was cautious of mounting it on the outside on that bushing. I was under the impression it allowed for some movement.

See between shock and swing arm mount there’s that bushing.
