Default SE II + Big City Thunder Baffles

I just installed mine and wow. The bike sounds great and i don't know if it was in my head or not but it seems quicker too. My 2007 XL50 sportster is now a monster (not a ducati reference).

Does anyone else have the SE II with theses baffles? I would like to hear some other opinions.

I have the SE II's on mine (2205 XL1200R)and have been thinking hard about the Big City Thunder Baffles for a while. Do they really make a difference (in sound)? How would you best describe the sound difference? Any chance of posting an audio or video with sound? I'd love to hear them!

Thanks...

aceo,

I'm pretty happy with the low-end pull from my Stage 1 and am more interested in the baffles for sound (although, who can't use a little more "punch"? off the line ).

How would you describe the sound change from the SE II's?

almost like drag pipes..not quite as obnoxious but a very deep tone..put it to you this way---everyone notice the difference before i even told them they were on it..and everyone is very impressed by the sound..you wont be dis-appointed at all..just do it..like i said before it was the best $129 i laid out for the bike and wish i had done it sooner...

I would describe the sound as much deeper and louder. When I first started the bike up after installing them I couldn't believe it. They're great....definitely worth the $129. Definitiely worth the money and the time and effort it took to take out the old baffles on the SE IIs and taking off the stock exhaust.
