Got one for you? On my 04 883 My starter kicked in while running. had just started it was about 50 out. . pulled small selonid and it stoped with it in place you can turn switch on and will fire up with out hitting button. pulled barcontrol and cleaned inside..This bike was in the water last year. and no problems till now. sprayed every thing even selonis conections. now seems ok has that happened to any one else?and the switch is sealed. any one on this .thanks gar

Boy! when electronics go into water there are things that happen which are some of the craziest I"ve ever heard of. Sounds like you got it though. Never has happened to me.

cleaned up every thing and this am it did it again I pulled big wire off starter and turned on switch sat for a few minutes then little relay clicked a couple of time now can not get it to do it. I pulled relay and put my light on lead from starter button and will light up it hit with relay out. but does not light till I hit switch.?? If you had bike in gear and turned on swithc and it started or ran forward you could be in deep shi-- . As it did with me this am I was lucky and pulled clutch and it did not keep on. Will call hd to see if any recalls as i saw the same problen on another post last night on this forum. I think electrical section? same as mine. thanks so the water probly has nothing to do with it??

This bike was in the water last year
man that's the pits - fish arn't allowed on my ride and my fishin rod isn't HD. What happened?? good luck getin your electrical problem niped, I go bonkers on those.
