Re Jet 2002 883 Carb
I have made a new Exhaust pipes.
Now ,
I need to increase the jet size.
I have adjusted the Idle screw to get the beat Ideal.
From what I have read, if you can not get the cough to go away, it is to lean when coming of idle. Pulling the choke out some it will rev right up no cough. So it is lean.
What Kit is used to enrich the fuel ?

Hi:
Yes, I had the same problem, went to straight through 2:1 and got the "cough" or "Carb Fart". Nice thing is you don't need a kit!
Changed two jets; main to 170 and Slow to 48. It is a little rich, but runs great, starts easy and I even get better gas mileage; go figure!
There is a better write-up on our website about carb adjusting and a link to others, you have to scroll about 1/2 way down the page:
