Triple-T,

Go here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/f39ivc

That is the link for a PDF download for 04-07 Sportsters. Some other member posted it (I do not remember his name but thanks). I know it isn't for your year but it will give you much good info. Most things are the same or similar.

Looks like we are both newbies to the forum. Thanks for the post.

I'm almost 50 and deaf now, so A little louder exhaust won't make that much difference. It's my new toy, and will do some moding to upgarde a few items to bring the bike together. I'm not planning on any radical changes just some chrome bling and a few other items. The one thing I'd like too do is add a tach and a couple mini guages to monitor the oil temp and pressure. I Think I came across a couple of sites offering the bezels and the guages, but they seemed a little pricey. I'm planing on checking on the instal price with the stealer and will make a decision then.

Thanks again for your input and advice!!

Hey TripleT,i took time out for 9 years and after all my sportsbikes in the past i decided that now was the time to go for a Harley (no other bike was in the running).

I'm out and about with my kids all the time at the moment and loving it.
(photo taken this evening with mobile phone)

Talking of Baffles/mufflers we were sat there having a break when in the distance we heard a bike coming from a long way off,my daughter turned to me and said that's a Harley, the sound was deep and loud and i thought she's already getting an ear forthe HD sound.
Sure enough a Fatboy passed with a wave, two up and sounded stunning

Like yourself,i intend to add a bit more bling chrome to polish but i think i'll be throwing one of these on first:-
