Because of my wifes recent interest in riding with me, I just recently bought a sissy bar and hardware from JP cycle. It is well constructed and solid. I got the rigid mount style. I just couldn't pass on the price as compared to the HD brand. Saved a considerable amount of money. I have bought other things from JP. They are good to deal with and, have a knowledgeable staff willing to help in your purchase.

I'm luck that I live very close to J&P here in Iowa. Bigtop 1 is right, they are great people to deal with and care quality stuff.

I'm not sure what style you're going for, but I recently put the Haulen *** Sissy bar on mine. I didn't want the sideplates covering the fender. I just wanted something that was sleek and that would provided some assurance to the GF that she wouldn't slide off. She loves it. I thought it might have been a little flimsy while looking on the website, but it's actually rather sturdy. I'll give it [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]. Here's their site http://www.haulenass.com/product/HA-FXD-CBR1-P1,or you can get it off ebay for for $189, as I did but shipping was very slow from ebay seller, (3 weeks). Here's some pics of it on my scoot.
