Well I did a search first and noticed a lot of people lost their battery cover I didn't find anything in the classifieds. So it brings me to this, my son lost the cover off his 04 1200R does anyone have a stock black cover they would like to sell.

 

"How could you possibly completely lose a battery cover? The clips have been improved." ..........quote from most any Harley dealer.

Check on ebay, I found one there when mine was lost.

These things are gonna become collectors items!

 

Yea I think to many people started doing their own service work, and using other then MoCo oil. So they started making parts that fall off to offset their losses.

 

I lost mine last weekend my local hd dealer is putting it under warranty so that was prettty good news for me try it out.
