how do you guys , that have them, like the HD mesh jackets? Do they really allow good air flow ? on sunny days do you end up with a pok-e-dot tan? are they s'posed to protect you if you go down? Curious , have looked at them several times , but not much info on the tag. thank you for your responces in advanced

Be glad y'all don't have problems due to Medication with direct sunlight. I get Sun Poisoning real easy due in part to my BP Meds. So I always wear a long sleeve shirt, jeans and gloves. And no matter how hot it gets my Full Face Modular HJC and my boots. SPF 30 sunscreen on the face too.

HD 3 in 1 jacket, wear the mesh part mostly, but add the panel at night (in the 90's daytime/will go into the 60's & 50"s at sundown, especially in the mountain passes & foot hills. Keep the rain gear part in a saddlebag. Rode a little bit the other day with a tank top & jeans, then switched to the jacket and found the jacket to actually be cooler in the direct sun than bare skin. Always ride with 1/2 lid (helmet) in town and full face on the highway. Wear the jacket and usually chaps with matching basic black gay-a$$ half gloves. It's road rash season and Billiings, MT has the worst drivers in the US. Last accident I saw, a guy got rear-ended while driving down a city street 3 lanes wide with no traffic. Got hit pretty, hard too.
