What is the difference between these Manual..... # 99495-02 and # 99495-03 ? 03 just has the latest up dates / revisions ?

Is it just the print date.

Looks like the 02 & 03 indicate the model year.

Thanks for your help.
If you look at the item description in your link, you will notice the statement, "used in conjunction with the Sevice Manual". Sound advice IMO, as the Service Manual is invaluable for anyone doing their own maintenance.

Going back to a part of the original Question.

What would cause the Speedo not to show Speed, nor the mileage or the trip set ? But as stated the back light works fine

I'm confused, there is a separate backlight for the speedometer (sweep display) versus the LCD display in the odometer window. Which one is non functional, or both?

The only think that works is the illumination of the gauge.it self

NO numbers in mileage window, nothing, except for the illumination of the gauge it self. Mileage #s not shown, but illuminated blank.

The gauge has one wire lead from, the speed senor to gauge plug. And in the same plug a lead illumination of the gauge dial / face These two leads share the same connector into the Gauge.

If that's the case, it's internal malfunction to the speedometer unit itself. Fixable? Yes. Worth it? No. Replace, and move on. BTW, how did the reset switch turn into "road kill"?

.
Switch Road kill was my fault, got pinched between cover and harness while looking in to the Speedo Failure. When putting cover back on.

Researching this problem, it has come up on google search a few times.
