Default These style of Sportsters??

Been seeing a lot of this style of bikes. I’m not sure that these are cafe racers or some newer version. It looks like they have a raised tank and drag bars with no risers. Chopped rear and solo seat.
I have my sporty the same way but I don’t want mine to fall in the cafe racer category. If it does, I’m getting apes. Nothing against Cafes though.

Cool

Bloomin' ugly IMHO! On the other hand:

Not my cup of tea, but that’s what makes all this fun, different strokes for different folks!
If you like it , go for it....

Part Bobber, part Cafe, part Streetfighter....just a name. I make my bikes how I like em, not concerned about what "category" the "fall into".

We built a bike similar to the style you pictured, see below. Here's a LINK to a short build report on it, with more photo's and video.

Myself, I am not comfortable with the bars like that, but Devin, the "D" in DK really likes them, not uncomfortable for him at all.

This is more my style, super comfortable for me.

Indeed! This is the sort of bike the original cafe racers were modelled after - Lance Weil's XLRTT-based racer from the late '60s

IMHO, the "cafe style" is closer to what Chris Owens built a few years before the new Roadster came out...

Thanks! They are very comfortable, will not scrape, even when leaned way over and I like the stability they add when freeway cruising.

I do like the fat tire look.
