Thanks, Wrench.

I'm sure the look on the previous owner's face would be priceless

Superstylin: It's a Lepera Silhouette

And yeah. I plan on adding something simple to the tank eventually.

Way cool! That thing will turn a lot of heads for sure. The denim finish really gives it a sinister look.[sm=lildevil.gif]

In all seriousness, if I had the cash, I'd love to add a Sportster bobber like that to my garage.

But I ain't gettin rid of my '07 Custom for a hardtail. My **** just can't take that kind of beating all day.

First off, great look and great direction to go with the mods. MUCH BETTER!!

Question: Isn't bronze going to be too soft to use as a hardtail bushing? I would think that both the bronze and aluminum would deform or stretch in the bolt on area after a while. Don't know, just wondering.

Comment: Why not go with a simple side drop license plate holder with a bracket off the left side strut? Should be easy to throw together..

Great look though bro. Congrats on the effort, you should be very proud!

Very nice bike. How do you like the drag bars? What does it do to the riding position? I was thinking of adding drag bars to my Nightster. Again, very cool bike, I like the direction you are going with it.

Thanks guys

tplyons, It will probably be for sale after I get to ride it for a while. Gotta pay some bills. I don't know though I like it alot. I may have to get a cheaper car lol.

LoneRyder, Bronze is very tough. Brass is probably what you're thinking. I'm a littleworried about the aluminum that's part of the reason it's raw instead of painted.I made the bushings press fit into the aluminum and the bolts are a very tight fit. I'm hoping the lack of slack will keep it from being deformed. I actually plan on making a tagbracket that will go into the passenger peg stud on the left side.

Drodd8, The drag bars are much more comfortable to be than the stockers. I'm 6'1 and it's nice to stretch out a tad more.

007Nightster,Actually the exhaustis Radii. I got them from Tedd Cycle. I'm not sure if they make some compatible with the injected bikes or not.
