Nev,

what would you charge to make these for other people here or would you even be interested? (brackets, brake extensions and all)

I was thinking about just switching the brackets from side to side and thus makeing them longer... but I could not figure out how to make the rods longer. Great job.

I'd be interested in a set if you were to make up a couple...

All, I haven't considered building these for others. Although there does seem to be some interest. Thanks for your input and I hope my design is helpful to others.

well if you decide to make them, be sure to charge for them so it's worth your while... i'd be willing to pay a reasonable price if you came up with a cost.. just throw a number out there.. cool mod!

Just thinking out loud, but it sounds like a product such as this is hard to find at a reasonable cost, and there is a market for an extended forward control package.

I'd like to see something like this available in two versions, maybe one with a 2.5" - 3.0" extension, and another version in the full 5.0" extension.

Exactly what I am looking for. At 6'4 & 36" inseam I am exploring ways to get the seat back "tall boy seat?" and controls forward. It does appear the controls got moved a couple inches back on the '04+ to accomodate the more average height. Looking forward to someone posting a fabricator they find to manufacture this great mod.

My wife is going to kill me though. Had the Sporty 5 days and already hacking a homemade mod onto it. oh well :-)

- Got the extended controls dont - What a difference. Here are some pics

One of the 'improvements' made to the 2004+ Sportsters was moving the forward controls closer to the rider, which would make them more comfortable for riders with shorter inseams.

I have it documented somewhere, but I believe they were moved 1.5" closer to the rider than on the "pre-2004" models.
