Mid controls on ebay

Mid controls on ebay
Ok gonna swap my forwards for mids. Looking on ebay the prices for mids are higher than are for forwards. Everyone has said the forwards are more in demand. On average I see forwards from $99-120 and mids start around $125.
The mids are HD most of the ads say and the forwards seem mostly aftermarket. Looking at the HD web site the forwards are over $400, so will my HD forwards bring more? I do have the paperwork when an HD dealer sold and installed them.
Also decided I need to get a new windshield, instead of doctoring this one up. Don't think I will get rid of the QDs though. Not yet anyway. I might figure a way to cut glare for the few night runs I might have to make till I get a replacement.

Good mids on that site. As for forwards being more in demand I would have to say its more 50/50. I'm all for saving a buck but you also don't want to go cheap on two of the most important pieces keeping you on the bike (most important piece being the seat bolt ). And as for you selling your forwards, if they're in decent shape you might fetch between $150 to $200. Stock take offs are stock take offs no matter how you jazz it up!
You'll be pretty happy with mids though. I've had both on my sporty and have ridden a lot of miles on both set ups and I LOVE my mids and don't see myself going forward again.
