Mid controls on ebay

Well back to the original topic. Just spoke with parts guy at closest HD dealer about mids. He said everybody is going back to mids, because they realize you can control the bike so much better. Those were his words and my thoughts. Others may disagree, so not meant to be an argumentative point, just a comment and opinion. My gut tells me that hte current popularityvof "Adventure" style bikes is driving this trend. Even some folks are "adventurizing" sportsters.
HD mids will runs about $400 pieced together since they are not offered in a kit. Same cost as forwards.
Looking closely at ebay I am seeing $170 being cheap and $200 the norm. This is one of those "ya shoulda been here yesterday" scenarios, I think.
Well I might as well commit to a set and hope I recoup my money. I am looking for the polished ones, which makes it a little tougher to find cheap. Believe it or not, the newer ones, 2014 and up, are cheaper. The 2004-2013 seems to be the in-demand item.
