I'm Looking to change my spoke wheels to mags, and can't really seem to find anything that will work! Where might I look? Maybe I've just not looked in the right place!

Thumbs up

Greg, Hi from another GB across the pond and welcome to HDF. What sort of mags are you looking for? Any secondhand Sportster wheels from the same period as your bike will fit, as will countless custom wheels. We have several wheel suppliers if you check the Vendor Directory in the blue bar above. Tell us more and we can be more helpful!

I'm curious why your 07 L has spoked wheels. The L model didn't come with spokes... had a 19" front wheel. Did a previous owner make that change on yours?

OE "Mags" are typically a "Base" wheel with Laced Spokes being an "Option" (It's even shown on the Sales Brochure and added to the price) ... although it may not not seem like a "Choice" when it's sitting on the Showroom floor with them already on.

I personally had a 07 1200L myself with factory equipped laced spoke wheels

Well geez.... I stand/sit corrected. All the L models I've seen on here and in person had the wheels like mine. Thanks for the info.

I'm just looking for stock mags honestly, nothing special! Not really looking for fancy wheels. The spokes are nice (and were an add on when new) but I had one break at 75 rounding a corner and scared the crap out of me with the back and forth trying to recover! I'm a new rider and this is my first bike, so as ive learned in my opinion mags would be safer!

Underwhelmed,
That is a sharp looking bike. Is that 2-1 exhaust, one from a 1200R?

Looks like an old big twin. My 2007 has mags also. Got mine (the bike) used though.
