I know the feeling, I am pretty darn new here too. Not my first bike by a long shot, but my first Harley twin. Welcome to the club.

Man I've been told I'm to big for a sportster, I'll look to sell it a month after I get it... blah blah, but I'm as happy today as I was may 31st this year when I got her home! I'm exactly 1 mile short of 4k miles this summer!

Wink

Greg, as already suggested, there are identical bikes to yours out there with cast wheels, which will bolt into your bike like they had always been there. You can identify the part numbers using a parts website and also which model years they were installed on. HDF has a Classified section, so you could take a look around in there, to see if any are advertised for sale, also place a 'wanted' ad. I've had success buying Harley wheels on Ebay and there are other on-line websites where Harley parts are advertised, also where you can advertise your spoked wheels for sale - although do make sure they are fit and all spokes are OK! I will only buy wheels without a tyre, as they add greatly to shipping costs and I like to fit my preferred tyre brand.

That's a sharp looking bike, Greg. Any mag wheels from the same era as yours will fit, no muss no fuss. Not sure of the cutoff year but later bikes had larger axles which would not be compatible.

handirifle: the exhaust on my bike is a bassani road rage 3. It's loud. No stealthy putting around the hood with that pipe.
