I'm hooked on 03's and have seen some very nice Wide Glides. Will finish this year on my Sporty and start looking for WG.
Don't know if HD was making the Deuce back then. Fat Boy's look pretty good too. If any one is selling one of these when the snow starts to fly, feel free to PM me with the details. I won't pay extra for non-stock changes/extra chrome/etc.

When you are riding perfection why even think of going backwards

 

Last week, the local dealer had demo rides. I took out a Softail Custom for the first time. Took out a Wide Glide right after. Softails way to go boys and girls! Most comfortable bike I ever rode. Definately my next bike. Gonna look for a used one in a couple years. Bought my Sporty used and have had good luck, why not the Softail? A lot cheaper second hand, too.

I would like to possibly one day get a Ultra Classic, extra storage for longer trips, ability to pull a small trailer for camping and for the cd/radio. Not sure if I'm built for the bike? 5'6-160 30"inseam. I have heard they are fairly well balanced.

 

I been saving for a night train, but I'm don't want to give up my sportster. when I can swing both I will have both.

 

If they hadn't brought out the Nightster I would be on my Vulcan Classic until next spring when I wasgoing tolook at some custom bobbers.

 

Your right! My Sportster is perfection,I wantto build a hardtail custom frameSportster to[8D]The Shadow actually has alot to be desired after riding my Sportster. I almost tried to talk the wife into letting me trade it in on a 03' V-Rod all loaded up with hardly any miles on it (all silver) for us both to ride on and I could just drop my SportsterDon't want or need another payment though

 

My preferred bike would have been the Road King, however, I could not justify the cost at this time.

In roughly the same price range as my Sportsterare my all time favorite sport bikes: Suzuki Hayabusa or GSXR-1000. The Busaneeds and is about to get an update & the GSXR-1000 isnot very comfortable and is experiencing alot of glitches this year.

So far, I like my Harley Davidson Sportstera whole bunch!
