Default Bike troubles!

Need some help. I ride a 2012 1200c. I went for a ride today and all seemed well until I was almost home. I was doing about 65 mph on the freeway, while holding steady on the throttle it felt almost as if the motor was stumbling slightly periodically. Then out of no where the bike felt as if it lost power and the speedo needle dropped all the way down but then instantly shot back up and power returned. All of that in about 1-2 seconds. I pulled into my neighborhood and as I approached a stop sign the bike died. It started right back up and was able to get home. The only other symptoms that I can think of in the past few weeks when I periodically start the bike it takes a long stuttered try to get it going. I’m new to the Harley world so I’m not real sure where to start. Thanks for the help!!

Start by checking for DTC codes https://www.hdforums.com/how-tos/a/h...e-codes-412791

You can also check the battery cables end to end for tightness, any damage.

Is the bike stock or any mods, handlebars changed., etc?

Did you notice if any other electrical things also went off at the same time? I also recommend checking the battery cables, at both ends, as it sounds as if you had a brief total electrical power cut. The ground cable is well known for coming loose, but the non-battery end is also the most awkward to get at.
