Smile A strange question re lower foot pegs?

Hello again
Does anyone know if there is a "drop / adapter" to lower the foot pegs just a bit
on my 2018 Sportster 48? I know all you guys can & do scrape when cooking around a curve
but I will never be that good. I sure wish I could lower my pegs an inch or so.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dante

No, just don't do it. Learn to ride your motorcycle.

Dont think you will never drag your pegs, it does not take much. Depending on the camber of the road, they could touch down very easily. Our pegs are wide and low, so if you drop them even a inch, they will drag very easy. You dont want that.

I assume the issue you are having is your legs are cramping up while on the pegs, I have that same issue. I move my feet around and use the passenger pegs and highway pegs to stretch out my legs. I also have mini floorboards, Kuryakyn I believe, so I can move my foot about and still have it under me. You can see the floor boards and highway pegs in the photo below.

You can improve your lot by simply adding a set of highway pegs, so you can swap feet around:

I believe DK offers pegs with an adjustable offset. Be careful, it's a fine line between have the feelers scrape and having the peg dig in. Good time vs bad time.

I put a set of DK bicycle style pegs on mine. Made a big difference.

Are your legs long enough to have the seat built up that inch or so you want to drop the pegs and still reach the ground as you want?

Why do you want to lower your pegs?

If you're trying to increase the seat-to-peg distance, then raise the seat. Reducing the ground clearance of a motorcycle that already has so little ground clearance, it not a safe thing to do.

I have a L leg below the knee prosthetic and it's somewhat difficult to bend my leg for longer rides.
the 48 already has forward controls and they are a great help!
Short inseam so I can't raise seat . I was just curious if there was a bracket available...perhaps a thinner
foot peg.
The search continues
Thanks to all!
