Default another brake line length question

Have Biltwell Flyer bars on now.
Planning out my handlebar swap FROM biltwell flyer TO biltwell tracker high. The approx height difference is shown below. 2.75 in height but the trackers are wider

I'm thinking I need a shorter brake line, otherwise there will be a lot of ugly slack in the line at the bar before the hard line. If so, it will be a good time to swap to stainless line. Your thoughts? Will I it need shorter?

thats not much slack, you should be fine, i just replaced mine with a magnum chromite, very nice stainless. You can take up the slack down where its routed tho, 1" or so on the underside of triple tree..............oh wait u got that prebent hardline in yours yea........might be some slack at top then, didnt think about that

There is only one way to get a finished article that YOU will be pleased with. Install your bars so they give you the comfort you want of them, as best you can judge, then install the levers etc making adjustments/purchases as required. On the other hand, braided hoses are an improvement over stock, so they would be a wise choice anyway.

Thanks guys. I think I answered my own question anyway... when the bars get here, I'll measure properly for a stainless line upgrade.

Yeah, Zateeva... there is a prebent hardline there that makes things awkward. Everything above it would be bunched up. One of the goals is to make the cables even a bit cleaner install than the previous owner did.

I did find out the hard way that the Magnum brake line i used is measured from end to end, unlike the clutch and throttle cables, where you measure just the sleeve. Had to return the first one because it was 4" too short (2" on each end banjos)

Post a few more pictures of the bike when you are done. It would be very appreciated.
I'm torn between those and the Biltwell Apes. I have Biltwell Keystone bars right now.
