Tuning Thoughts 2016 Roadster
Hi all
thoughts on the below charts?, I did a smart tune after recording some data and these are the numbers I got.
I'm not a big crusing man asin I go on the highway for an hour once every couple of weeks, if anyone can help me improve these numbers that would be a great help.
I have a 2016 Roadster xl1200cx
Vance and Hines Short SHots
Screamin Eagle Stage one Airfiler

Did you start with the 2016 Sportster Stage 1 tune? file name 374SFI001
It will have different ignition timing tables from stock.
Your 0 and 2.3% VEs are too high from about 2250 and higher rpms.
I would probably have kept the 20 MAP AFR at the same as the stock table, that may be why your VEs are so high during deceleration at 0 and 2.3% throttle.
I would suggest riding about 20 miles before you start data gathering to get the engine completely warmed up.
While gathering data ride like you normally would, do several data gatherings riding normally and apply each one and reflash.

I just used the tune that Harley Davidson put on it when I bought it of the showroom floor new with the pipes and stage one already fitted. ill look into the initil map they put on and let you know. but
ill defiantly be bringing the laptop and super tuner out again tomorrow. your information is very helpful. Ill keep you posted and once again thank you.

Have you been through the online Super Tuner training?
It has a good section on tuning without a dyno.
