Not sure what year you have, but on my 03, the front slip on is attached to the header pipe and the case and I had todetach the rear brake cylinder in order to get to it. Required a largeallen wrench. It's been a long time so I don't remember what size. Still, a very easy thing to do!! p.s. my bike has forward controls, and it is the rod to the rear brake pedal from the cylinderthat was in the way. Call me if you need any help (209) 993-0893 Steve.

Well........They are on.....and they are FU%#ING AWESOME.....sound is incredible...no loss of *****...in fact, I thought it ran better....anyways...1/2 hour job........
Took me at least a six pack to change mine.I like to work slow when I have a beer in one hand and a wrench in the other.Two drinks one turn,two more drinks another turn.Eventually you and the bike are happy.Lol.
I went with the cycle shack slash cuts...i ordered them from iron city cycles...159.99 plus tax and shipping...180..out the door...and I got it 2 days.......love em....
