I Need New Tires On My Sportster
I'm thinking of replacing the tires on my bike with a set of Metzelers.
I'm wondering if that sounds like a good idea to you guys or not? I haven't owned a Metzeler tire in MANY years, but I always really liked them in the past.
I'm looking for a better ride and a sticky tire, and I am willing to have them wear out a little faster to get it. Am I on the right track??
Should I stay with the stock size that's now on my bike? Can anyone recomend a good place to order a set?
Thanks for any help you can offer,
SR

I'd highly recommend Pirelli Night Dragons. Stick like glue, corner like a dream, best tires I've had on my bike over 28 years. I got mine from Jake Wilson, but they've been absorbed by someone else. Check the internet for deals. Stock tire size is fine.

I ordered my tires through Amazon from "Rider's Domain" which turned out to be shipped from Jake Wilson. I went with Michelin Commander II's (which I'm very pleased with - very good in the corners, long wearing, and good so far in the rain). I liked the way the tires were shipped, wrapped with cardboard stiffeners in the tires - not cinched down with cable ties. Excellent prices and shipped within 3 days.
