so, just how long does it take for V&H to reply to your email about their pipes? emailed them a week ago and haven't heard a thing back.

 

I don't know my pipes were just fine so I didn't need to email them.I would have used a phone anyhow much more personal when they can hear how happy or pissed you are.

 

Their website said the Big Shots Standards wouldn't fit my bike, so I called them. They guy I spoke to insisted they would not fit, but both drag specialties and my local dealer said they would fit. Long story short, I bought them and they fit (see sig pic).

I emailed them with questions about baffles after I bought them. They never responded. So I called, and the guy I talked to was basically a DICK.

VANCE AND HINES CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!

...but I like my pipes (after I changed out the baffles).

Those guys are the ***** to deal with. I lost a heat shield when my pipes were two months old, and it took ten months to get them to warranty it. This will be my first and last set of V&H pipes.

 

It is going on Day three for me on an e-mail about the staggard shots fitting on my Nightster I don't imagine I will get an answer from V&H. I posted my question up on this forum and I got my answer from another member within a few hours.

 

Great. V&H sent out Kawi Nomad instructions with the H-D pipes. Well, they LOOK like the H-D pipes; I won't know until tomorrow night when I get a chance to bolt 'em on. Anyhow, no big deal, I put Rineharts on the last Sportster, so this looks about samey-same. I'm merely suggesting that V&H needs to get their act together....

Yeah, I know I can get the install instructions off the 'net. V&H needs some pro management, apparently....
