93 xl1200 carb size

is the stock carb for a 93 xl 1200 a keihin cv40?

I am looking for a jet kit to add when I get the pipes and air cleaner

In 1990 Harley started using the 40mm Keihin CV with accelerator pump (instead of the older 40mm Keihin CV slide carb), so that's what you should have on your '93..
