Default loud pipes

just bout a 2018 harley softail heritage classic limited edition. the pipes are extremely quiet and i was told i would need to put on slip ons to avoid replacing the whole pipe and voiding the warranty.
Any help would be appreciated. Louder the better.

from what I have heard, and I haven't checked to be sure. I have heard if you change anything at all on the new Harleys your warranty will be voided unless you use the Harley tuner, parts from Harley, and have the work done by Harley, I don't know for sure but I would go to your dealer and get any changes you want to make in writing to avoid voiding your warranty.

I've only had older bikes.....but I imagine if you did aftermarket slip-ons and you had a problem,....you could easily put the stockers back on before bringing in for service. No?

Precisely. If you're just doing slipons you can get away with this. But if you use a tuner it will change the checksum in the ECM and they will know.

Best to go back to the dealer as you will want to add a performance intake as well.
