kink in efi fuel line
#3
Im replacing mine as well, and there is no way to get this new one (Stainless wrapped as opposed to the factory rubber) in without a kink just due to the length. Looking back at the hose i removed (wish I woulda paid more attention when removing) it does look like it had a kink in it as well just due to a line/shape i can see on it. Due to the length and that you have to basically loop it back over itself, and the aggressive bend it has to take right out of the fuel rail, and the fact that you cannot rotate it (the tab means it can only go on one way) im not seeing anyway around it, it really is a bear to get in there.
My new tank valve should be in tonight and ill put it all back together. Ill let you know if the kink causes problems. Guess ill have to order a stock line if it does...

I'd be worried about a kink, even if it isn't causing a restriction now as that is the only flex point between the hard mounted gas tank and the rubber mounted motor so there is quite a bit of flexing in the line when the motor is running and inevitably will always flex at the kink point.
