kink in efi fuel line
#11
Got mine installed last night - yes it does have a kink. This aftermarket line is like a normal wrapped line, but then the whole thing is covered in like a clear rubber/PVC tube cover. All this extra thickness doesn't allow it to "curve" like the stock one, so there was no way to get the kink out - tried for 3 hrs. That said, it runs fine with the kink, through all speeds, light throttle all the way to hammering it.

I have a 2008 Sporty and the lines seem to long. You can cut it and bend a copper 1/4" tube through it stopping your kink. I've been through two lines and they both have kinked and jacked up my idle and I'm getting that sputtering too. The lines seem to be too long or the fittings designed wrong to me. The copper tube will get ya lined out though..

It certainly shouldn't be kinked. The one here on the 2008 has like a pig tail in it.
Under the tank it is not a straight run to the injector manifold it goes past it then into the pigtail to line up coming back to the manifold.
The picture on ronnies seems to show it curled around as well.
