Default Front signal lights

My front right turn signal is working as normal, stays on solid and flashes when I press my right turn signal on, but my left will not stay on solid, but does start to flash when I press the left turn signal on.
Anyone got any ideas on what may be wrong?
Thanks in advance

Swap the bulbs and see if the trouble moves with it , may be the bulb

I was going to suggest the bulb or the connection between the bulb and the signal housing.

Funny thing is when I tried the right (working) signal bulb on the left it wouldn't work, stayed the same; but went out and bought a new set of bulbs and the left one worked when I put the new bulb in. Tried to install the second "new" bulb for the right signal (figured I might as well use both new bulbs) and then neither light would work. Put the old (working) right bulb back into the right signal and both worked perfectly. Oh well, if that's how it wants to work, that's how it will work.
