Default Seafoam Engine Cleaning

Wanting to run seafoam through my engine. Curious has anyone used the purge hose fitting on the induction module for a point of access to the throttle body? My 1200 custom is not a evap model but I have the fitting capped on the induction module. This is my first time doing this on my bike so I'm asking for advise as to what is the best way for using the seafoam (aerosol can). Any pros or cons to using the method I mentioned? Just thought that this would allow me to keep the air filter installed during the process. Thanks in advance.

I read on CV Performance website NOT to use Seafoam with their accelator pump diaphragms. Not sure why, it's never caused a problem on my bike's carb or diaphragm. I also use Seafoam in my gas, usually every fill up as a stabilizer and cleaner. Works great IMO.

According to the msds sheet it is a solvent. Good for cleaning. I've never bought gas I felt needed stabilizing.

Fake News? Maybe. It's marketed as a fuel stabilizer on their website. Not the reason I use it, but they say it works.

I'm not a professional chemist, so not sure what makes fuel "unstable" other than maybe getting so called "stale" over time? I would assume some compounds would evaporate off or oxidize over time. Again, IDK. I know it will gum up passages given time and opportunity.

I've bought gas in Baja that you could barely light with a match.

Gas does not burn the vapor from it does. Oh and in my opinion there are better products to keep gas from going bad than Seafoam.
