Default Doesn't like to shift up into 3rd?

Shifting is smooth as silk... MOST OF THE TIME. However, my 2007 883C doesn't like to shift up into third gear sometimes. Any ideas what's up with that? Only shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Doesn't have a problem shifting down. And it doesn't happen in any other gears.

I'm going in for my 1000 mile service this week, will ask then. But looking for any other insight.

2007 is still under warranty, gear, synchronizer, shift forks, who knows? Just let the dealer know and they will take care of it.

Who cares what it likes. Just tell it you're the boss and you're shifting it into third whether it likes it or not.

Transmissions - they're always whining about something... ...

I would follow 128auto's advice. Get it documented & checked out under warranty. Harley's often shift rougher and noiser than metrics but since your problem is only with 3rd gear I wouldn't blow off the issue and keep forcing it into gear. That's not the smart thing to do.
