Just picked up my first Harley-Davidson I know that they're known to have oil leaks so I took it out recently and gave a world and when I went to fuel up I noticed it was sweating oil from the rear head around The Rocker Box on to the starter and the battery as well as the oil tank is this normal or do you think it's just time to change the gasket*

Oil leaks were an older gen issue. Once you get that Evo sorted out (gaskets as mentioned) you should be drip free mostly. Other thing to check is if you have an open air intake filter you can get some oil misting out of it which can be normal, or worse if oil was overfilled when servicing. That mist can get places and mask where it’s from.

In the corner of the rear pot seems to be the most likely point in the upper rocker gasket.
mine whent on a 883r it progressively got worse, easy to fix.
I used some blue hymer on mine for belt and braces along with new gaskets, not sure if it was a wise move but it worked.
if you have just picked it up from a dealer they should do it
