Burly Bars Cable Install Questions
What’s up ladeez and germs (classic)
I have a 2017 sporty and recently just got Burly brand narrow apes 12 in” and the burly brand cable extensions for the 12”. So my questions are :
1. Is there anything else im going to need for this? (brake fluid is the only other thing i can think of)
2. Bar swap...never done it, heard its a pain. Is it worth it to have someone just do it? (Got two quotes: Harley: Basically just verbally slapped the **** out of me: $650 starting , Local shop: $600) Both parties were aware i have the cables and bars
3. Do i have to jack it up?
And last but not least if anyone has suggestions or tips toss em out there plz ( i know there’s a million bar threads and atleast a few for this specific brand but looking for a lil more info )
Any help is greatly appreciated 💕

Swapping bars isnt that hard at all, ive done mine about 3 times now and takes about 30 minutes tops? Longest part is bleeding the front brake. I could see them charging you that much if you want your wires internally ran. If you're not going to wire them internally then Id just do it myself. Theres some threads/ youtube videos out there about how to adjust everything back to the way it should be. As long as you have everything you need to extend everything you should be fine + some brake fluid!
