Default Sounds like a siren

I gor a new 48 about a month ago. 500 miles on it. Last night I turned the key on to start it and it sounded like a siren in the gas tank but not as loud. I figured it was the fuel pump. After three or four seconds it went away and has yet to come back again. I know if I go to the dealer they'll want to hear it and it probably won't do it. Has anyone experience this happening. I fear the fuel pump could go out on the road. Thanks for your opinion

That's the fuel pump priming. Its normal. Mine does it every time I turn the key on to start it. If it didn't do it I would be worried.

+1 for being normal. Itll be louder the lower your fuel level is.
