Also curious how this worked out. It's a very clean look. Parts you listed seem reasonably priced. Wondering about the clamp options. And how the wiring harness connected. Was there an available port?

Still working on it, had to get a new triple tree to fit the handlebar clamp, relocate the front turn signal bc of the new triple, working on some other mods in-between but we're getting there!

Definitely got my attention, it seems like a pretty perfect answer if it can be done cheaply enough. I'm a little concerned by this:
