Exclamation 2015 Iron 883 HELP calling all HD Sportster Experts

Hello, Fellow riders i have a major problem, I have OCD and can not find where this bolt and clip fill out of from my 2015 Iron 883.
I had a incident where my bike almost tipped over to the right side but caught it in time like a ninja, but this bolt came off somewhere underneath in the process. Also another incident when i was washing my Iron 883 i found this clip on the grass near the bike so I'm assuming it was from it.
Please someone help me if anyone has any clear indication where these came from so i can restore it to factory new condition. Thanks much appreciate it, Ride or die bad boys for life.

The black clip looks to be one of the two clips that holds the left sidecover on. My guess is the Torx head bolt mounts the clip to the frame.

I checked the side cover there’s nothing missing. I think the clip is some cable holder?

That bolt looks like the seat bolt.

I agree, the clip looks like the part of the sidecover clip that attached to the frame. Perhaps a previous owner changed them out and it got stuck somewhere in the bike and worked it's way loose and fell out in your driveway.

As for the bolt, is it the seat post that is under the seat? # 20 in the parts list for the rear fender below?

Yea thats definitely the seat post bolt, i just put a new one on mine (the old one was rusted). You probably lost the part is screws into as well from underneath the fender (parts #2 and #9 on the fiche above, up under the rear tire). Unfortunately, you need to remove the rear tire to get in there to replace these from underneath, unless you have like the smallest hands in the world. May be able to get away with just jacking in up and getting the rear in the air to give you the largest gap between the rear tire and rear fender, but i doubt it

yea my guess would be the L (as you are sitting on the bike) side cover, one of the top clips (there should be two). Just open the L side cover and look along the frame along the top of where the sidecover closes, there should be a clip at the front and at the rear of the sidecover
