Default Hurray! Leaky fork seal.

I noticed it the first couple rides as a small line on the fork tube that I wiped off usually. it's not getting better. heh.

What is the usual "may as well upgrade that while I'm in there" list? While the previous owner did upgrade to Progressive 12.5" 444 in the rear, I don't think anything has been done to the front... it's a little mushy.

I like the Progressive cartridges in my big bike.......no more dive and it's a good ride.

If you wanna go super cheap you can add spacer to the stock, thats probably what im gonna do in the next few days if you wanna watch my thread. a little less cheap is the progressive springs (like $80-90). Then mid range is the progressive cartridges.

Thanks. I just saw your update and will be following along. I appreciate the detailed pics of parts.
My goal will be firmer but same or close to same ride height.

Try running some 35mm film negative or something similar under the lip of the seal...that will often clean out dirt and stop the leaking. Motion Pro makes a tool to do this too.
