I had burly 10.5" on my 1200L and I had clearance issues on the right side. So I had the alignment adjusted enough to keep the bolts from rubbing the tire and retain the alignment to the caliper. If you already have the burly's installed, you can measure your clearance based on how much more you are lowering the bike keeping in mind sag on the burly's.
The burly's help lower the stance on the bike but does nothing for comfort. And if you are also having clearance issues on the right side, consider reversing your strut bolts. Good luck with your mod.
