Can't ride today in Indianapolis............due to rain

I can happily say, this is the first day rain has stopped me from riding since I bought the bike in early May!

Though my grass has not been as happy.

Good day to give the bike a bath............maybe me too [sm=smiley20.gif]

I'll ride in the rain. Prefer not to as I don't have rain gear, but it hasn't stopped me before.

Dallaxtx, the reason I made a new sig because people pm me all the time and ask me what grips, seat, lights, etc I have, so I made a diagram to point them out individually, save me time to reply email lol .
By the way, it is raining here, that's why I am here in front of my notebook. [:@]

Jeeze! It's gonna rain allthis week! I guess summer is postponed. I'll either put my bike in storage or buy rain gear.

It's been raining almost every day here in Houston for the past 2 weeks. I don't ever remember this much rain during June.

I have lived in Texas since 1967. I have never seen anything like this. I bought my current Sportie the first part of March, looking forward to a long hot summer to find out that Texas has moved to Seattle.

I decided I was NOTgoing to listen to the forecasters anymore.[:@] A couple Fridays ago, I got caught in one heck of a thunderstorm in jeans & T-shirt. Last week they caused me three good riding days by saying it was definetly going to rain during the majority of those days that I was going to ride. Well guess what, bright and sunny allfreakin day long on all threedays that I decided not to ride. I don't have rain gear cause I don't have saddle bags to store the stuff. Now this morning they say "Chance of afternoon showers"....Well, It rained this morning on my way to work....Soggy pants suck. I think I'm going to invest in one those rain suits and just carrymy backpack more.[:@]

Well the rain just let up so as soon as the roads dry out I'll get some miles on. Not much rain this year so far but we need it bad as there are a couple of fires burning around the state.
