Default Rev Limiter

Is there a rev limiter on a 2015 Sportster 1200 and if so what is it? Thanks

I hear its really easy to unplug 1 wire to raise the rev limit.
WAY more power.

Yes I'm serious. It seems the newer Sportsters have a different curve in the ignition and a different rev limiter. Newer Sportsters are marketed towards women and inexperienced riders. They dialed the power back. I have a 2001 Sportster it will absolutely blow away my friends 2015 Sportster. He unplugged one of the rev limiter wires and now it will almost keep up with mine. I'll have to ask him which wire it was.

Yes. Yes.... It's called out as the "Girlie Wire" in the wiring schematics. See your service manual.

I've never heard of it called the Girlie wire. It's not in the service manual he found it on the internet.
