Default Clutch cable connect at primary

Ok, i was that person that stripped the threads in the primary where the clutch cable connects. Reading through the forums, i was able to idnetify that i can rethread the hole with a heli coil. Its a 5/16 but im not sure on the length....I read that a guy used a 5/16-24 on his 883!? Can anyone help me out!?

Two ways of tackling this, one is to source the tools and do it yourself, another is to find a local indy who has the tools and inserts and can do it in a jiffy.
