For every person that complains about the stock seat, there are probably ten other owners that don't have a problem with them.

I for one thought the stock seat on my '05 1200C was very comfortable.

It's not like Harley is forcing anyone to purchase their products.

If you don't like a specific bike, or how it 'feels', or if it might be uncomfortable to your body shape, the answer is very simple;

Don't buy the bike.

You have put on so many miles, you could get butt naked and sit on dried rice and your a$$ would not hurt.

After the first 600,000+ miles 'in the saddle' nothing can bother you...

But I've also never had a 'normal type' job where you sit around 8 or so hours a day in a nice comfortable chair.. If so, maybe I would have become spoiled and expect a more 'cushy ride' while out on a Harley.

I'd probably last less than an hour if someone caged me in an office inside some building.

I don't agree with the cheap seat. Harley seats are fine for a 20 year old. Us old guys need alittle more padding but went 760 miles with blisters on my butt. I can live with that. Great ride!!
