Default 2016 (48) brake upgrade questions....

So I'm interested in changing out my brake line in favor of a braided stainless piece and upgrading my caliper to an XR1200 caliper... but I'm unsure of the rotor? It looks like I already have a floating rotor in that it appears to be two pieces?

Can anyone confirm this?

Take a look at the recent post about Wilwood brake calipers. Looks pretty good to me. and only $200 on Ebay. Not sure what the XR1200 caliper costs, but likely similar.

You have a few options.

The vrod Brembo caliper

or the Nissin XR calipers

I prefer the Nissin as it appears to be rebuildable and I simply prefer the look.

and the other option being what John Harper suggested.

As far as stainless steel lines, I thought the new models came with those standard. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
