Where has anyone heard that they are 'shortening the wheelbase' on any of the Sportster models?...
I don't know, maybe it was a total length thing or something I heard about, and it could have been just the opposite, that they're getting longer than before or something. I'm not sure.

You're asking a guy who's already in the middle of 'happy hour' tonight to try and remember, and that just isn't going to happen... I can't even remember what I heard 5 minutes ago...

Is it me or does the blue Sporty in Dale's pic look like it has a shorter wheelbase.
I think it's just the perspective. The picture is the Harley I built in the Customizer at the HD web site (minus the engine guards and triple headlights), and ordered from the dealer. But if you look at it, you can see that the bike isn't shown from the side. It's turned just a little bit, so the perspective makes the bike look shorter. In real life, the profile of the 1200C is signifigantly longer.

Do you have a windshield?
Yep. And a bright yellow safety vest, too. And a full face helmet.

And the wheelbase of the 1200C looks even 'longer' when viewed from the left side.

I was told these would work as passenger boards: Kuryakyn ISOâ„¢-Wing Mini Floorboards #4450

I'm not sure about rider boards though, I'm still investigating.

Dale:Have them install a BACKOFF module. It makes the brake light blink in a series and is really noticeable bytraffic behind you. I had floorboards on my 96 Hugger and liked them, then they came with my 99FLHT. Now that I'm back on a 2006 883L, I'm going to put them on the forward highway pegs...just haven't decided which ones to use......
