Default Leak

I have a fluid leak out of the shifter peg on the primary. Any advise; expensive to fix? Or should I just leave it be?

It's just a shifter shaft seal. A 5 buck part and not hard to replace, just gotta be careful not to damage the new seal while sliding it on. About to replace the seal on my bike as well. I'll post pics if you would like.

Thanks for the reply, and yes, pictures would be good if you can. I imagine the primary cover has to be removed and out goes all the fluid. oh well!!!!!!!!!
