Rotor issues

Thank you! You're a life saver. I've been pulling my hair out trying to find one of the discontinued rotors, trying to get technical support from HD, on the phone with JP cycles trying to figure out why they sold me the wrong part, I even visited my local bike mechanic to get his take. Nobody had answers.
Now I've got a solution and parts on the way.

How did you wear out a rear rotor? How can Harley discontinue parts for a bike less than 10 years old? i thought that was against federal regulations?
It's listed on Ronnie's Microfiche as having a -08 part number, so they have been using this rotor for a while. It's also listed as available from what I could see.

sorta doesn't matter anymore. for the price hd wants for rotors, OP made a solid call. ebc rotors are leaps and bounds above hd's goods.
